台灣近年常出現所謂「靠爸族」，指的是依靠家中長輩來取得成功的人。那麼「靠山」的英文怎麼說呢？guardian angel（守護的天使）是也。你也可以對幫助你的人說：You’re my savior.（savior為名詞「救助者；救星」）或 You’re my protector.（protector為名詞「保護者」）。
